We’re finally past the mid-week mark! Day two of three full days of filming this week. Another day of filming down, in what is the lead up to the busiest few months of the year for those of us working at Sport Singapore.
Ever since adopting a new approach of creative storytelling in our online content, we’ve started to see some relatively good results. Long may this growth continue.
Today’s shoot is on a sport that is in very familiar territory for me, in promotion of Singapore Football Week 2017 next month, held in conjunction with the 2017 International Champions Cup Singapore.
No words can describe how relieved I am to have finally gotten this shoot out of the way, having needed to put in last minute requests to both Singapore Sports Hub and SMRT for clearance for us to film in Kallang Wave Mall and around the National Stadium in what are usually deemed as non ball-playing areas.
This is without a shadow of a doubt one of the more exciting short films and promotional videos I have had the pleasure of directing and co-producing. Looking forward to see how it turns out.
Without giving too much away, I’ve added some sneak peeks from today’s shoot. Keep an eye out for the full video coming out next month! In the mean time, ActiveSG Football Academy’s new season has started.
